5+ Spellbinding Bay Area Halloween Destinations for Harry Potter Fans

As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, I can never resist a touch of magic—especially during the Bay Area Halloween season. Every year, we rewatch all the Harry Potter movies (it’s basically a tradition at this point), and it always takes me right back to my childhood, when I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.

These stories have such a special kind of nostalgia for me, which is probably why I light up anytime I find Harry Potter–themed decor in the real world. Put me in front of a house full of floating candles, spell books, and tiny potion bottles, and I’ll happily lose track of time taking in every detail.

Over the years, I’ve realized there are so many Bay Area homes that go all out with Harry Potter decorations for Halloween. So if you’re a fellow Potterhead, I’ve mapped out a magical drive featuring over 7 stops that will make your inner wizard heart happy this spooky season. Grab your wand and your robes — it’s time for a magical Bay Area Halloween adventure!

Unlike some of the bigger displays, this one is cozy and contained to the porch, but it still packs a punch with photo booth and treats for visitors. Perfect for snapping a few magical pictures and enjoying a quick Halloween moment.
